parkrun Edinburgh would like to invite local jogscotland members to help celebrate the first birthday of parkrun Edinburgh on Saturday 16th October 2010. Please join us at Cramond at 09.30 for a timed 5K run along the waterfront on a flat out and back course. You decide your own pace, run, walk or jog, we welcome everyone. Bring along some home baking to share with other runners and walkers afterwards and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
parkrun is absolutely free, simply register online at www.parkrun.com. You will be emailed a barcode which you need to bring with you on the day.
The course is marshalled and marked at each kilometre and Jog Scotty will be making a guest appearance on the day.
We hope to see many joggers at our first birthday celebrations so please bring your friends and families and make this a celebration to remember.Wednesday, 29 September 2010
run for burma on sat 9th of october
Last October some of you competed in the Edinburgh Run for Relief in Burma, a 5k charity run in support of Partners Relief & Development UK. We appreciated your support last year in helping to raise over £3000 for Partners’ work with the refugees of Burma.
We are running again this year on Saturday 9 October in Inverleith Park 11am.
If you have any questions you can email us at info@runforburma.org. We hope to see you on 9 October in Inverleith Park.
Sincerely,
The Run for Relief Team

You are cordially invited to the Westwoods running group Christmas meal on Saturday 4th Dec.

Their excellent xmas menu is a fixed price of £26.95. There are vegetarian options.
Additionally, in previous years many have opted for the Bring Your Own Wine option (£3).
Use this link to have a look at what's on the menu and to find out more about the restaurant.
