adult runners breakfast habits...
We [the university of roehampton-rather than me & brendan!!] are
launching a new questionnaire study designed to investigate the
breakfast habits of adult runners. The study is carried out by the
Health Sciences Research Centre at Roehampton University (London), under
the leadership of Dr Sue Reeves, and by the Centre for Health &
Wellbeing Research Centre at University of Northampton, under the
leadership of Professor Jorg Huber.
The questionnaire will take around 15 minutes
to complete although this may vary slightly. The questionnaire can be
found online at the following web address:
Hopefully your participation will help
provide a better understanding of the role of breakfast in physical
activity that will be of benefit to all runners. In addition we offer
you the opportunity to take part in a prize draw for a chance to win one
of four £25 M&S vouchers.
Thank you for your interest, if you would like further information please do not hesitate to contact me.

postrunbrunch fundraiser news
this just in from Susie;
When I added all up monies and calculated the Gift Aid, the final total was £757. Isn’t that fantastic? What a great bunch of people we are…and modest too!

Once
again, many thanks to everyone who came along and made it a lovely
social Saturday and to those who made donations but didn’t manage to
come along. As Nesh said “It was funny seeing people with their clothes
on!” We may have to do it again as Stuart brought along a case of beer
which wasn’t touched!
Great
run this morning Brendan, especially given my alcohol levels from last
night’s birthday dinner……..serious training for Aberfeldy starts now!
