Porty Student Event

JACS Events is a group of four students undertaking a HND in Events Management at Edinburgh College the Milton Road Campus. As part of their course they have to hold an external event. The event which they have decided on is a 2 Mile Fun Run along Portobello Promenade. The race has optional distances which can be increased for more experienced runners and is fancy dressed themed. The race would be starting at Seafield Road East near the cat and dog home and continue to Joppa Road.
The Race is being held on the 13th of April from 12pm - 2pm. The race is raising money for Edinburgh Sick Kids Friends Foundation.

After the race takes place there will be catering provided and also a small presentation for the winners. If you would like to take part or want more info, email jacs_event@hotmail.co.uk.

ultra marathoners amongst us

huge respect & congratulations go to Gillian White & Eleanor Mackenzie for completing the Dee33 ultra-marathon. no navigation or hill running-just run 16.5 miles to the end of the path & turn around & come back. this year was blessed with every sort of weather apart from warm & sunny. well done
