Hi All,
If you've got 30 minutes, or less, to spare there's very exciting news - registration is open for Burma 5K (Sat.10th Oct) see link below. See how you've progressed since the Botanics 5K on a similar route, you may surprise yourselves! The run starts at 11am so BB Saturday run class is on as usual from 9.30am, then I'm going over from Westwoods for a very relaxed Burma 5k in the park from 10.30ish.
Fiona's beginners will still run from Westwoods on the Saturday at 9.30. Her Saturday intermediate class are all invited and encouraged to join her for the 5K instead of the usual run from Westwoods.
There's lunch on offer after the 5K, (ya beauty!) to which (obviously : ) ) I'll be going.
I do hope you can join us for a good cause folks and a for a good feed afterwards.
Check the website, details below. Some technical difficulties in paying online have been reported, it might be easier to download the form and send it with a cheque.

Dear All
This is a reminder email about the Burma 5K Run which will be taking place at Inverleith Park on 10th October this year. Registration for Scottish Athletics members before 1st Sept is just £6 (become a
JS Gold member - see JS website for this discount at every race) - (£8 after 1st September) for which you get a free T shirt and goody bag.
This is a great opportunity to run for a really good cause, and I would be really grateful if you could circulate this email to everyone in your running group. There are several prizes available for fastest male and female athletes in different categories as well as a prize this year for the fastest team. To find out more and register for the race go to
www.runforburma.org The race will be followed by a lunch and talk at St Stephens, Comely Bank.
Chris
