THE GLENLIVET 10K 2013
(The Most Beautiful Run in Scotland)
Entries are already coming in thick and fast for the 4th annual ‘Glenlivet 10K Road Race’ taking place on Sunday April 14th so please don’t leave it too late to enter as the race limit has been reached in the previous two years.
The race is rightly billed as ‘The Most Beautiful Run in Scotland’ and
is based at the legendary Glenlivet Distillery in the heart of the
Cairngorms National Park in Moray. The scenic, undulating and rural
route is set around the babbling River Livet making the course a
stunning landscape to run in and all runners receive a deserved ‘wee
dram’ (Glenlivet Miniature) after the race as well as a goody bag and
event medal.
The
race is suitable for runners and joggers of all standards and uses
electronic chip timing for race results and has fantastic race
organisation and facilities. The event raises vital funds for Chest
Heart & Stroke Scotland through optional sponsorship and donations
and a warm Highland welcome is always guaranteed from the local
community.
