Night out alert, june

There is a night out being planned on

 Friday 17th of June at the Orchard at Canonmills. 

Eating & drinking. limited seats, 

See Marianne on a Saturday or Tuesday.

Saturday 7th may for beginners & intermediates

I have to go off & defend my title in the glen affric duathlon this weekend , 
Deirdre is off to newcastle for unspecified fun, & Eleanor will be at portobello parkrun.
Please head along to parkrun-930am in scotland- 1st timers briefing at 915- always worthwhile.

[& for Deirdre & Mark- there is a choice of 4 parkruns in the Newcastle area! wow, spoilt for choice.

 For the beginners this week , week 8, we are doing 2 x 15 mins run & a 3 min walk. continue until you find the finish. don't forget your barcode  & let me know how you get on.
intermediates are up to 2 x 30 mins with a 5 min walk. in between. [?2 parkruns?]

a bright sunny Saturday dawned after a bit of a rainy early morning...

we all [21] met up & split into 4 groups, the advance path indicating group, the 4.5 milers, the beginners & the distance kings & queens.

off we went down to the woods- to a greater or lesser extent, 

no bears found but the beginners enjoyed the railway path & we were joined by mark & deirdres son & twin grand-daughters for coffees & large pan loaves [sorry scones] afterwards at the bridge bistro..

& Ali got a nice bunch of flowers for organising.
